Take a Look Inside Our Monthly Boxes

Choosing items for our monthly subscription boxes is one of our favorite things to do here at Mind Game of the Month. (Besides playing with our doggos, of course!) So much thought and care goes into choosing the perfect toys that will appeal to every pup, no matter their personality.

We test each and every toy with a variety of dogs to help ensure that they will be well-received by our subscribers and their pups. If an item doesn’t pass the test, we don’t include it in our boxes.

When choosing our active play toys, here are a few things that we look for. 

• Is the item durable? Can dogs play with it without it immediately tearing or breaking?
• Does it keep the pup entertained & engaged for at least 30 minutes? Dogs need at least 30 minutes of active pay time per day, so this is an important one for us!
• How does the pup look & feel after play with the toy? After playing, the pup should be tired out and happy! If they aren’t, we take a closer look at the playtime to determine why the pup didn’t expend as much energy as they should have.

Any unused test toys that don’t meet our criteria are donated to a local shelter for other pups to enjoy. Nothing ever goes to waste and we are happy to share products with pups in need.
